Our Mission
We're on a mission to provide healthy food and sustainable solutions to those experiencing crisis and food scarcity in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
Our goal is to build a network of support and resources that not only meet immediate needs but also empower individuals and families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life through partnerships with local experts and organizations.
Hive to Harvest is cultivating community gardens, partnering with local farms, and establishing sustainable food distribution networks. By providing consistent access to healthy food, we aim to improve wellness, foster resilience, and empower communities, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive despite their circumstances.
Three Pillars
Your Journey to Food Independence Starts Here
Nourish
Community
Pantry
Our Free Community Pantry fills nutritional gaps by providing fresh, organic produce and essential groceries to families in need. We prioritize specialty dietary items like dairy alternatives and ensure that everyone has access to healthy, nourishing food.
Sustain
Pantry
Plus
Pantry Plus is a unique donor-driven program where your contributions directly shape our community offerings. As a donor, you’ll play a hands-on role in selecting the food we bring to the pantry. Your support also unlocks perks such as discounts on homesteading classes through our Independence Academy and savings with our partner brands. It’s a fun and impactful way to nourish your community while gaining rewards for your family!
Empower
Independence Academy
Independence Academy provides workshops and hands-on classes in self-sufficiency, partnering with local educators to teach sustainable skills like gardening, budgeting, and food preservation. We empower individuals to take control of their futures through education and practical experience.
